Tom Holland ha condiviso su Instagram le prime immagini ufficiale di Spider-Man 3, che lo ritraggono insieme a Zendaya (MJ) e Jacob Batalon (Ned Leeds). Potete vederle di seguito:

I tre attori hanno anche preso in giro i fan, pubblicando due titoli completamente diversi per il film: Spider-Man: Phone Home (pubblicato da Holland), Spider-Man: Home-Wrecked (pubblicato da Batalon) e Spider-Man: Home Slice (pubblicato da Zendaya). È probabilmente uno scherzo, ma la rivelazione del titolo ufficiale potrebbe arrivare tra poco!

Anche il conduttore Jimmy Kimmel si è unito allo scherzo, pubblicando un titolo ispirato alla serie Disney Channel That’s so Raven:

Considerando che il film affronterà le conseguenze dirette di WandaVision, possiamo affermare che Spider-Man 3 avrà a che fare con pericoli e minacce provenienti dal Multiverso. È stato confermato infatti che Jamie Foxx ed Alfred Molina riprenderanno i ruoli di Electro e Doctor Octopus, villain provenienti da un’altra dimensione per dare la caccia all’Uomo Ragno, mentre è rumoreggiato (quindi ancora non confermato) il ritorno di Tobey Maguire ed Andrew Garfield, di Kirsten Dunst (Mary Jane Watson) ed Emma Stone (Gwen Stacy), ma anche di Willem Dafoe (Norman Osborn), Dane DeHaan (Harry Osborn) e Thomas Hayden-Church (Uomo Sabbia).

Dopo il finale di Spider-Man: Far From Home, in cui è stata svelata la vera identità di Peter Parker, il nostro amichevole Uomo Ragno di quartiere dovrà tentare di ripulire il proprio nome mentre affronta tutti questi nuovi nemici; nel farlo sarà affiancato dal Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), che lo guiderà attraverso i pericoli del Multiverso.

Diretto da Jon Watts, Spider-Man 3 arriverà nelle sale cinematografiche il 17 dicembre 2021.

Nel cast torneranno Tom Holland (Peter Parker/Spider-Man), Marisa Tomei (zia May), Jacob Batalon (Ned Leeds), Zendaya (Michelle “MJ” Jones), Tony Revolori (Flash Thompson) e Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange). È previsto il ritorno di Jamie Foxx nel ruolo del villain Electro (già visto in The Amazing Spider-Man 2) e di Alfred Molina nei panni di Doctor Octopus (antagonista di Spider-Man 2), insieme ad altri personaggi dei precedenti film di Spider-Man. Il resto del cast include Arian Moayed e Harry Holland.

Le riprese inizieranno sono iniziate lo scorso ottobre presso gli studios di Atlanta, e proseguiranno fino a marzo.
