Nel 2025 uscirà al cinema l’epico crossover finale della Saga del Multiverso, che sarà diviso in due parti: Avengers: The Kang Dynasty (2 maggio 2025) e Avengers: Secret Wars (7 novembre 2025), in cui i Vendicatori affronteranno il temibile Kang il Conquistatore.
Dopo la rivelazione del film, è stato annunciato che Destin Daniel Cretton (regista di Shang-Chi e la Leggenda dei Dieci Anelli) dirigerà il grande crossover. A poche ore dall’annuncio, Simu Liu (interprete di Shang-Chi) ha commentato la notizia in questo modo:
Tre anni fa, al San Diego Comic-Con 2019, Destin e io eravamo seduti dietro le quinte e guardavamo alcune tra le persone più famose del mondo salire sul palco. Ci siamo guardati e abbiamo detto: ”Cavolo, sta succedendo a noi tutto questo?”
